Spanish born Miguel Alvarez started his career as a professional player where he played for several clubs in Germany including Arminia Bielefeld and VFL Osnabruck. As a coach and scout he’s worked for some of the biggest clubs in Spain, Saudi Arabia and UAE. Celta Vigo, Al Nassr, Ettifaq, Al Khallej, Shabab Ahli to name a few. His language skills are impressive too- Spanish, Galician, German, English, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic. Miguel’s passion for football and family ensure he’s a well liked and respected member of the team.
ROMEO GALLI
Head of Italy and South America Scouting and Development
Romeo joined us in 2020 and has a broad range of high-quality experiences which he brings to NX1. Graduating from The University of Cambridge in 2008 having read English. He also speaks Italian, Spanish and French. Holder of UEFA coaching badges and Diplomas in Sports Management. Romeo has previously worked for Arsenal Football Club and most recently was PA to Uruguayan International Lucas Torreira. His eye for talent, contacts and friendly nature are a welcome addition to the team.
JOHN PSARAS
Head of UK youth scouting
John’s an FA licensed coach with experiences as reserve team head coach of Walsall U18’s where he stood for over 15 years, as head coach of AFC Telford and as a scout for various league 1 clubs such as Shrewsbury, Walsall and others. His knowledge of the lower leagues ensures we’re well placed to identify players who can make the step up to the next level.

Jamie’s CV boasts senior positions in the scouting and recruitment departments of Huddersfield Town, Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur, Millwall, Derby County, Brighton & Hove Albion and most recently as Head of Recruitment at Rotherham. In his early career Andreas spent 5 years working for the UK’s number one real estate firm, Countrywide Group PLC. Andreas quickly rose the ranks to become the top real estate agent in the UK selling high end properties to elite clients from around the world. He then founded a specialist education consultancy as he identified that the families he was working with struggled to find a trustworthy and well connected education advisor whose focus was solely on the clients needs. Andreas is dedicated to supporting the company’s clients and heads up our sports related education projects.
